Client Transactional Support
JOB PURPOSE
The Client Transactional Support acts as the primary operational point of contact for the Private Banking clients.
The role involves executing sophisticated financial transactions, ensuring meticulous compliance with international regulations (KYC/AML), and providing administrative support to the Relationship Managers to enhance long-term client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process all banking transactional instructions: local and international transfers, account-to-account transfers, deposits, checkbooks, fixed-term deposit (DAT) setup, loans, bank cards and other products.
- Perform checks such as funds availability, signature verification, compensation payment, Dow Jones consultation, follow-up calls, potential rate negotiation and good for processing prior to sending instructions to the Banking Operations department for processing.
- Handle the administrative aspects of client onboarding, periodic review, reactivation and closure to ensure complete completeness of files and forward all documentations to the Banking Operations department for processing.
- Support the Relationship Managers in handling loan applications by conducting Dow Jones search, extracting MCIB, mortgage records and MNS reports among other tasks.
- Follow up on any required documentation from clients post credit committee loan approvals through to completion and disbursement of loans.
- Monitor various deadlines with the Relationship Managers – Term deposits, overdrafts, authorizations, guarantees, unpaid commitments, VOR updates, among others and raise the flag to the Relationship Managers and the Head of Department whenever needed.
- Handle Private Banking client requests by providing information while adhering to banking procedures and regulations and offer operational support for specific products.
- Manage complaints by recording complaints received regardless of the channel (telephone, email, internal mail) from clients, participate in the analysis and processing of the causes of complaints, and gather and prepare responses for the Relationship Managers.
- Regularly and diligently update the activity tracking spreadsheets.

- Be familiar with banking and financial regulations
- Sound knowledge of KYC and CDD policies and operating procedures
- Good knowledge of AML/ CFT
- Capacity to engage confidently and professionally with high net worth individuals or UHNWIs
- Ability to remain composed and solution-focused
- Good communication skills in English and French
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Banking, Finance, Business Management or any related field
- At least 3 years' experience within the Banking sector preferably within the Private Banking
